Kate was joined by boyfriend Jamie Bell last night (15) at the premiere of ‘Past Forward’, a movie by David O. Russell presented by Prada at Hauser Wirth Schimmel Gallery in Los Angeles, California. Check some pictures added in our gallery.
On current Elle magazine issue there’s an interview with Julien Dossena, the artistic director of Paco Rabanne, featuring a pretty new picture with Kate Mara. He’s talking about the new Paco Rabanne line, more metallic, minimalist, boyish.
He remembers Kate calling him requesting a dress for using on Met Ball. We have added scans in our gallery.
For this year’s Met Ball, actress Kate Mara requested a custom version of the sheer minidress made of smoky plastic disks from Dossena’s fall 2015 collection. “She is that kind of woman I love, with an efortless and boyish elegance,” Dossena says of the actress, who follows her turn in House of Cards with a clutch of films Morgan, Megan Leavey, and Chappaquiddick. The Met Ball fitting took place via Skype, while Dossena was on his iPhone at a bar, which seems apropos given both his wired-up MO and the inherent futurism of Paco Rabanne. Mara loved the functionality of her bespoke outfit. “Usually, you’re in some sort of a gown that’s hard to move in,” she says. “But this was very soft and light.”
Kate attended the Refinery29’s second annual New York Fashion Week event on Thursday. It is the second year of the party, held on Brooklyn, and she stepped out in an orange and white striped top with a floral mini skirt and a structured blue purse. The gallery was updated with 29 images of her posing at the event.
Kate was sighted once again on location for her upcoming film, ‘Leavey’, this time in Atlanta, Georgia. She plays Morgan Leavey, a real-life Marine corporal and K-9 operator who shares a tight-knit bond with her combat dog – which can be seen in some of the pictures. The film doesn’t have a release date just yet.
Kate was sighted on location for the film ‘Leavey’ in LaGrange, Georgia, on June 9. She appeared to be running through lines with her castmates and trying to escape from the sun by holding a huge umbrella over her head. The biopic tells the story of Megan Leavey, the hero Marine corporal and her combat dog Max, a German Shepherd, and it is directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite. A release date hasn’t been set yet.
